Special Containment Procedures: SCP-9114 is housed in a standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-282. To maintain long-term containment stability, SCP-9114 is assigned a designated “squire," selected from D-class personnel. The squire is responsible for basic maintenance of SCP-9114 and must sustain its perceived hierarchical expectations. Religious services are available to SCP-9114 every Sunday.
Due to repeated incidents of targeted hostility, direct interaction with SCP-9114 is restricted to ethnically European personnel who identify as both Catholic and heterosexual. Communications with it must be conducted via the observation window and should acknowledge, but not reinforce, its expectations of deference.
SCP-9114 must be fully restrained prior to any transport. During transit, it is to be escorted by no fewer than 4 security personnel. Instances of aggression or rapid behavioral escalation are to be met with appropriate force.
Description: SCP-9114 is an animate 15th-century suit of plated armour, approximately 1.75 m in height. Its construction and ornamentation match armaments from midland regions of the Holy Roman Empire. Despite lacking a gambeson or internal framework, all components remain suspended and articulate as though worn by a human body. Individual plates can be removed but autonomously return to their correct positions once released.
SCP-9114 produces vocalizations from within its helm consistent with an adult male of roughly 40 years. It is capable of verbal communication limited to Low German and basic Latin.
SCP-9114 displays courteous behaviour toward personnel it deems virtuous. However, it becomes verbally hostile and may escalate to physical aggression when confronted with individuals or statements it labels as "heretical." The exact criteria it uses to determine this heresy remain unknown but strongly correlate with late-medieval worldviews and associated Catholic doctrine.
Personnel are advised that SCP-9114 possesses the physical strength of a professionally trained combatant and demonstrates significant proficiency with close-quarters weapons.

Father Jule: You speak with great certainty, Sebastian. And yet… I sense a burden behind your words. As though something remains unresolved. You have been carried far from your own time, and into a world unfamiliar to you. Such a trial would weigh heavily on any man.
SCP-9114: Nay, Father. That is not the wound.
Father Jule: Then tell me what troubles you.
SCP-9114: [Pauses] I am not troubled by dread, not by distroubling. Swich things beeth for lesser men.
[SCP-9114 shifts in its chair.]
SCP-9114: Ac thou understand well. Unright is at werk.
Father Jule: Unright? What do you mean by that?
SCP-9114: Thou art Godes man. And so I shall speak plain to thee. Fram the day I held first a sword, til the hour I fell on field, I served His name. While exact numbers cannot be reliably reconstructed, multiple independent accounts describe his involvement in:

- Participation in witch trials (frequently cited as the primary executor).
- Suppression of Saracen merchants through violence.

SCP-9114: Ah! Father, thou comest out your wonted hour. A glad sight fore sooth. Saga me, bringest thou good tiding?
Father Jule: I… I’m afraid I cannot say that I do, Sebastian. These papers before me… they claim you were responsible for many deaths. Thousands, perhaps more. I hope, truly hope, there might be some fuller context.
SCP-9114: Aye, most impressive, is it not? Ac was a reason, Father.
Father Jule: I am relieved to hear this, at least. But I must ask plainly… Why?
SCP-9114: They forespilled Godes orchard with their wearness.
Father Jule: Sebastian… they were human beings! You drowned an infant!
SCP-9114: Thou grantest too fine words to describen such foul. They were heathens. And heathe sprit as rot, all corrupting. Would thou had me sheathe mine sword? Stondeth idle and watch His orchard choke?

Ernst,
I am writing to you privately, as discussion concerning SCP-9114 has moved beyond procedural matters and now calls for professional judgment.
Following its recent disagreement with Mr. Holzer, the subject has demonstrated increasing resistance to cooperation. Standard protocol would recommend psychological disengagement and a return to purely custodial containment. While administratively sound, I believe such a course would be premature.
SCP-9114 constitutes a living historical consciousness: a mind formed outside the development of modern ethical frameworks, yet fully capable of articulation and dialogue. SCP-9114 forcibly exited the interview chamber. Two assigned security officers attempted physical restraint but were overpowered. SCP-9114 incapacitated one officer through blunt-force assault.
The second officer successfully activated the sector alarm before being rendered unconscious by a security baton recovered by SCP-9114 from the downed officer.
Level -2 Sector II (13:43)
SCP-9114 proceeded toward the emergency exit stairwell. The subject halted at a wall-mounted emergency fire axe cabinet. The subject shattered the glass enclosure with a single strike and removed the axe.
SCP-9114 briefly held the implement in both gauntlets and raised it to its helm before proceeding through the emergency exit door.

Personnel evacuating were ascending the stairwell when they encountered SCP-9114 exiting Sector II.
Panic ensued among staff. SCP-9114 struck the stairwell railing with the axe, obstructing movement, and forcibly pushed ascending personnel down the staircase.

Multiple personnel fell from upper stair sections, causing injuries and obstructing evacuation routes. SCP-9114 descended the stairwell and attacked incapacitated individuals.
