Description: SCP-9728 refers to the martial art known as Reikon ryū. Though the techniques and kata are completely non-anomalous and do not resemble any known kinetoglyphic techniques, SCP-9728 possesses a unique property — active practice of Reikon ryū "anchors" the user's anima, rendering them immune to thaumaturgic manipulation.
SCP-9728 has proven to be incredibly successful in countering reality benders when utilized by Foundation combatants. While anchoring prevents practitioners from utilizing their own reality bending abilities, this has proven unproblematic in the field.
Standard use involves Foundation thaumaturgists using reality manipulation to rapidly close distance with targets, before engaging SCP-9728 techniques. This effectively traps opponents in melee combat.

Addendum 9728.2 - History
The following is a brief history of the use of SCP-9728 by the Global Occult Coalition recorded by Doctor Everwood interviewing Doctor Clef upon his defection to the Foundation.

Everwood: Anyway, I believe you said in your request that you have knowledge on an occult martial art? One used by the Coalition, yeah?
Clef: That is correct.
Everwood: Okay. Please proceed, Doctor Clef.
Clef: It's called Reikon ryū. It originated at some point after the Fifth Occult War in Okinawa as a means of practicing self-defense against Type Greens by non-anomalous individuals.
Everwood: How does it work?
Clef: Truth be told, I've got no fuckin' idea. All I know is that it does work. I've seen it with my own eyes.
Everwood: Something for us to research later. Please do go on.
Clef: It became more publicly known during the Seventh Occult War, after the Imperial Japanese Anomalous Matters Examination Agency, or IJAMEA, lost Okinawa to the Allied Occult Initiative in 1945. The island had only just recently been annexed by Meiji Japan, so a lot of the locals didn't speak Japanese despite being a part of the country. This wasn't a big deal until the war, when the Emperor Hirohito banned everyone from speaking anything but Japanese as the AOI closed in on mainland Japan. Oh yeah, he also made it so that everyone would be forced to fight the encroaching AOI to the death, all the while not trusting them with weapons.
Everwood: This would be the 82-day conflict known as the Battle of Okinawa, and the AOI was the Coalition's precursor group, for those not versed in Group of Interest history.
Clef: Yes, ma'am.
Everwood: That's doctor to you.
Clef: Yikes, sorry. As I was saying, documents recovered from fleeing IJAMEA forces state "difficulty in breaking the Okinawan practitioners of Reikon ryū", whom "exhibited great resilience" and were "able to defend themselves against even members of the Pingfang 5."
Everwood: There are no records of the Pingfang 5 being deployed to Okinawa during the war. They were mostly attached to—
Clef: You think I don't know? I'm only giving you the skinny on what I was told during my history lessons on the matter while at the Coalition.
Everwood: Still though, I concede that it is possible they were there prior to being deployed to their intended destination. Especially if IJAMEA documentation supports this. As you were, Doctor Clef.
Clef: Right. Following the occupation of Okinawa by the Allied Occult Initiative and the assurance that no Okinawan peoples would be further harmed by the occupying force, practitioners of Reikon ryū began divulging their techniques to high-ranking members of the burgeoning GOC as a means of expressing thanks. But you know how it is with the Coalition. Fivefold Mission and all that crap.
Everwood: Survival, Concealment, Protection, Destruction, Education, correct?
Clef: Yup. It started as something only Officers would learn. But the Council of 108 extended its long, creeping arms, and suddenly, these practitioners of the martial art would find themselves teaching entire PHYSICS forces their kata. Eventually, learning Reikon ryū became a requirement for all PHYSICS personnel. I myself am trained in it, and happen to hold a second degree black belt in it. But, uh, yeah. The Coalition kept using it, and then came the Ichabod Campaign.

Clef: I, uh. I'm not going to talk about the Ichabod Campaign or confirm or deny any involvement in it. But as I was saying, the Coalition's forces used Reikon ryū in spades to hunt down Type Greens. PSYCHE would track them, PTOLEMY would deploy PHYSICS, then PHYSICS would jump the poor saps. Since most Type Greens aren't very physically capable and mostly rely on their ability to get them through life, they folded after a single knuckle sandwich. Most of them, anyway. The stronger ones would be in such a state of shock that their ability was neutered they wouldn't expect the incoming followup.
Everwood: Anything else you would like to say on the matter?
Clef: I am willing to teach the art to the Foundation.
Everwood: Very good. Anything else before we break for lunch?
Clef: That's all I have to say. Oh wait, no. There's been an increase in Reikon ryū schools opening up across the world, but the Coalition didn't care to stop them. Something about some defense being better than no defense. Okay, that's everything. For real this time.
