Special Containment Procedures: All other domiciles on SCP-8751's street have been bought by the Foundation and vacated. Covert surveillance devices have been placed in each of SCP-8751's rooms, save for the basement.

Description: SCP-8751 is a single story house in Los Gatos, California, purchased by Gilbert Burton (SUBJECT A) on March 3rd, 1942, following his marriage to Judith Burton (SUBJECT B). The Foundation became aware of SCP-8751's anomalous properties and acquired it shortly thereafter.

SCP-8751 appears to be host to an eighteen-hour "closed system" loop, preventing direct interaction with its inhabitants. Though the result of each iteration of the loop is always the same, the preceding events differ each time.

Loops within SCP-8751 begin with SUBJECT A relaxing while SUBJECT B attends to various household chores. SUBJECT B sporadically attempts to make small talk with SUBJECT A, to little success. At some point, SUBJECT A will accidentally become fatally injured, to SUBJECT B's distress. Typically, SUBJECT A expires via asphyxiation from aspirating food or blunt force trauma from a fall, but sharp force fatalities, drownings, and immolations have also been observed.

After confirming that SUBJECT A is dead, SUBJECT B will drag the former's body to the basement door, shoving it down the steps. From that point on, SUBJECT B spends the rest of the iteration alternating between housework and staring out of the living room window. SUBJECT A reappears in an unoccupied room at the beginning of the next loop, with no apparent memory of what previously occurred. Investigation of the surrounding domiciles has not uncovered any additional anomalous activity.

No other houses in the area were found to possess a basement.
